There is currently much discussion into health issues in all breeds of dog, and none more than the Bullmastiff. I have been asked to support a cause within our own breed and am very glad to do so.
The British Bullmastiff League Health Survey
A survey has been produced by the BBL with the knowledge and hard work of David Hancock, to whom we owe a great deal of thanks for his time and effort. We have the support of the Bullmastiff Breed Council with this survey, to try and identify and collate information on conditions of disease in the breed of the Bullmastiff.
Only with breeders and owners co-operation by filling in this survey with
integrity and honesty, can this information be collated, towards the ultimate
goal of identifying the most common conditions affecting our breed.
